About Teresa Piddington M.Ed, LMT
I’m a massage therapist specializing in WATSU® aquatic massage. My expertise is combining the healing power of warm water and aquatic therapy to alleviate pain, helping clients feel more lithe, limber, revived, & joyful.
My greatest joy in life is contributing to the well being of myself and others. From teaching elementary school, running non-profits, raising children, and fostering for Paw Works, I have had the privilege to be of service in many different capacities.
I have always felt at peace being near and in water. My introduction to WATSU® aquatic therapy was in 2011. With my first step into the warm water therapy pool, I knew instantly, sharing this healing bodywork with others was my next professional calling.
Throughout my training, I saw first hand the positive transformation that occurs when achy limbs and muscles due to aging, pregnancy, hypertonia, contracture, surgery and disease are immersed in 96º warm water. I experienced the results myself in 2012, after a bi-lateral mastectomy for breast cancer.
WATSU® aquatic therapy and regular massage helped me recover from my surgery and maintain my full range of motion. Today, they continue to alleviate my osteoarthritis and everyday stressors that get in the way of doing what matters most to me. They will help you, too.
